After effects CS4 seems to fail when rendering with Cineform files in project
I was working in a rather complex After effects composting project and started using Cineform files (film scan 1) in the project today. I noticed after a day of work, that every time i tried to render with the cineform files in the project the render quire failed to finish. By the end of the day i ended up rendering the source files to another codec and replacing them in the composition, and now, they will finish rendering successfully.
Anyway, I just thought id post about this problem and wondering if its a known issue. EDIT - woops i just realized the compositin settings were accidently set to 2K res instead of 1920x1080 as this is prospect HD. That may have been the problem all along. I will test tommorw to see... |
AECS4 is getting an update any day now too!
That could help. Simon |
Well, i guess its not cineform; as I uninstalled it and the problem persists with After effects failing to render all the way through. I found out I have to restart After effects every time i want to render the final output as it can only render one time and its done working. I wonder why this is happening.
I just figured it started happening right after i installed cineform so what else could it be as AFX didnt seem to have this problem before now. |
