Before I switched to Cineform, I used HDVSplit to capture my video. While Cineform does scene detection, which didn't work for my camera directly in Premiere, HDVSplit labeled the files with the date and time stamp from the video. It made things a lot easier when organizing video from multiple cameras. How about adding an option for naming files using the source video date and time stamp?
