You should credit the original creator of this tutorial / idea as you did not come up with this workflow by yourself. Your tutorial should be titled: "how I learned how to clean-up dslr footage."

Re: How I clean video with cineform
Ouch! owned.
In a related matter, Does anyone know a solution to this.... Gave it a try (the above), rendered out of After Effects, the file plays fine in WMP, also in Vegas, But First Light and Studio hang and just show a white screen and after a while crash. Thoughts? |
Re: How I clean video with cineform
Hi Gerald, did you render out from AE as a Cineform AVI or select the Cineform codec from the AVI codec selection?

Re: How I clean video with cineform
hi Mark,
yep, just went back in and checked, must have been in a hurry, sure enough, avi not cineform avi. So I guess your going to tell me it makes a big difference hey? Is there any way to fix the file? It plays fine, its just that Cineform products dont like it. |
Re: How I clean video with cineform
Yep, don't know the exact specifics as to why, maybe David or Jake could explain the technical reason. I had a bit of success importing the dodgy files into premiere and exporting them as a Cineform AVIs.
