Cineform export errors

A low level exception occurred Error Code happens every time I try to use Media Encoder to output
Cineform files .mov or .avi
I am using latest Adobe CC updated April 9th 2018.
Any ideas oh how to get around this?

MSA laptop
64gb ram
Nvida GTX980
Intel 6920HQ 2.90GHz

The latest Premiere 12.1 dropped support for legacy 32-bit QuickTime codecs, so that might be part of it, but would not explain failure to export as .avi file format
