problem with preview video with version 5...
 

ok obviously have the new aspect version 5. when I create a new project now I cant view the video in either the left or right preview panes in pp2 from my captures with hd link. no problems ever with version 4 with this. I hit play and nothing happens. anyone else having this problem?

ps. same thing happens with older projects captured and edited with version 4. gonna try reinstalling 5 to see if it had a bug during install

ok upgraded from build 81 to 82 and that seemed to fix the problem. I just bought it and my link took me to build 81 so make sure you guys go back and update to build 82. now I've captured several tapes with build 81, should I go back and re-capture with build 82?

The codec is the same between build 81 and 82, no re-capture needed.

I had the same problem in build 81. Build 82 solved the issue.

Mark, thanks for noticing and reporting this. Yep, I was pointing to the previous (B81) build - now fixed.
