Avid Liquid support
 

Hi I'm a beta tester for Avid Liquid and I have been trying to convince Avid to at least allow Liquid to read Cineform files. I have tested and worked with the new Liquid Chrome XE which uses the AJA Xena LHE board which Cineform already supports. Almost all the pieces are in place for a great Chrome XE workflow with Cineform but Avid has not said anything about supporting the format.

What are the chances of Cineform contacting Avid to try to get support for Liquid? I mean at least the hardware side of it is already solved since your format works with the Xena boards. I think Liquid Chrome XE combined with Cineform would be one beast of a realtime system.
