Impact on Rolling Shutter Effects with an I-frame Codec?

Hello,

In considering the Flash XDR, I have been thinking about how or if the images will be any different from the original camera's recording system.

I wanted to ask if the Sony EX-1/3 cameras would benefit from using an I-Frame codec instead of the long GOP they use now when considering rolling shutter effects.

Would the skew or flash effects that a rolling shutter can be known to produce be lessened by having every frame marked instead a group of 15?

Thanks

Dear Tim,

I feel that the Flash XDR / nanoFlash will not mitigate any problems that occur due to a "rolling shutter".

The shutter speed / shutter operation will still be determined by the camera creating the image.

Thanks.

Looking forward to seeing some footage.
