Sorry for the delay, I got back from the job in Dallas and immediately had to head out to Prince Edward Island.
Back now and moved one of the corrupted 35mb/s MXF files from my computer back to a flash card and tried to play it. All I receive is "Aborting Playback" error message flashing. Again, at 23.98Psf 35Mb/s the Nano is corrupting the first file on each card. When bumped to 50Mb/s...no problem. I'll try recordings with the camera in DF/NDF but to the best of my understanding, when in 23.98P mode the camera is always recording non-drop. |
Dear Paul,
We will be looking into this. What version of our firmware are you running? This is displayed under System|About |
35 Mbps Corrupted Files
Hi Paul-
I feel certain this is fixed in the new firmware to be released this week. Our revised Compact Flash read/write algorithm accentauted this problem and allowed us to quickly find the root cause. I'll double check tomorrow, but this should be fixed with the new code. Best- |
Dan, take a look at the first post in this thread:
This is my configuration Sony F900 camera @ 23.98Psf Miranda DVC-800 (HDSDI output) Nanoflash, 35Mb/s long GOP, PSF checked in/out, E-to-E checked, TC trigger, firmware 1.0.112 Cards: Sony 306x 16Gb part#NCFD16GP Mike, thanks. Glad to hear it's getting fixed. |
Dear Paul,
Thank you. Sorry, my mistake, I should have gone back and re-read the entire thread. |
