One more tested and working eSATA card for you. This is the 2 port eSATA II Express Card I use and is the most reliable of all that I have used so far - Dynex :: Products For Your Digital Life - Dynex® 2-Port eSATA II ExpressCard Adapter - and I have used and try a lot of them.
Works like a charm in Windows and MAC(I have MBP 500G with Windows installed on a 100G partition on it). Switching in and out of the OS's without problems and hassles. my 2c
Cheers

Hi Paul,
I have been using my MacBook Pro with the FW800 readers dumping to Esata Raid 1 drives. After six months I have found for reliability you still need AC power supply for HDU's and the laptop. Having used the above I believe that the Nexto NVS2500 which is small, lightweight, able to copy SDHC, CF and SxS and operate from AA rechargeable batteries is the way to go. I saving to get one next year.

I totally agree with you Lance. I'm setting up the mini laptop for now as I have one, while I save the pennies for the Nexto :) I'm over budget again and I'm getting my a** chewed off again :) Good for the diet I suppose :)
