Qualified Cards - Did I Miss Something?

Installing the new Beta update and reading the documentation.

This is not specifically a beta question so I am posting within the forum itself.

Did I miss a change in qualified cards? I have been using 32gb PhotoFast 533x but don't see them on the qualified list. Were these cards de-listed for a reason?

Hi Ned,

Dan recently noted that the Photofast cards had an issue - possibly with a faulty batch and has been delisted until further notice.

Thanks, David

Don't know how I missed that.... thought I kept up with everything.

I must be lucky, then, since I've had no issues so far with the cards.

Hello Ned I am with you I purchased a few of the 64gb PhotoFast 533x when they where approved and I have so far have not had any problems.

In case you want to really play it safe, Dan also noted that CD was very happy with the 64Gb Delkin CF cards. I noticed that B&H sell them for just under US$300.00 each + shipping.

I read how disappointed and apprehensive you were Lance upon reading Dan's post. I am also very happy for both of you that you obviously have good CF cards.

Best wishes gentlemen.

Dear Friends,

We hope the removal of the PhotoFast cards from our list of qualified cards is only temporary.

Yes, there was a bad batch of cards. These were cards that were DOA (Dead on Arrival).

Nanoflash.net sells them (similar pricing) along with other handy and inexpensive nanoFlash accessories. They are very good with cross border shipping as well.

Yes I had very good service from Rick Kelly... when I bought my Nano.. cables and a card reader.. also 2X 64GB Delkin cards.. cheaper than B&H I believe..

All arrived in Tokyo very fast and well packaged..
