Question About 1080i 60fps Recording

Is there an advantage to recording in 1080i 60fps as opposed to 1080p 30fps for fast moving subjects.
Thanks Roman

Dear Roman,

It all depends on your intended usage of the video.

If you intend to create still images from the video, a progressive format is great as you can create a very nice still image.

If you intend to have fast moving images, and intend to show them at regular speed, the viewer will (or may) have a better sense of motion with interlaced.

This is subjective, it depends on the type of "Look" that you want.

For example, do you want "Video" or do you want a "Film Look"?
