Best de-interlace plugin for after effects

Hey all,

What is the best de-interlacing plugin for adobe after effects people have found here?

Very interested in something similar to magic bullet for the pc.

I've read on some other thread that MB might come out for the
PC as well. I also thought AE came with a pretty good de-
interlacer by itself, not sure though. Always worked with progressive
material myself.

I always found that a batch render in Photoshop created the best de-interlaced results. The Photoshop filter seems to work far better than
the After Effects version.

revision fields kit, bar none best

gotta edit my post as i had no idea this thread was so old.

magic bullet is available for the pc -- i believe there's been a pc version since the plugin's inception. fwiw, i like revisionfx's fields kit as a straight deinterlacer as well -- great results, minus the magic bullet looks.

Might as well chime in too. I'm a fan of the adaptive deinterlacers for Avisynth. I forget which filter is the preferred one this year. Then feed that into whatever application wants it or create an intermediary uncompressed file.
