Auto Setup in Magic Bullet won't work!!!!
 

I've done what the manual said. Turned Separate fields off, set the frame rate to 23.976, but when I click "auto setup", nothing happens!

It says this in the "messages" column:

"NTCS to 24p* Magic bullet is now configured etc..."


How do I fix it?

If it is saying it is 'now configured' then you have set it up. Are you sure you have written the message correctly? If it is saying it unable to setup then I suggest you have a look at what the reolution of your footage is and how AE is interpreting it.


I think you may have it set up correctly if your message is correct though...

Yes, but it still says "Please click the auto setup button in the effects panel" in the preview window!

Is the composition set to 23.976 - and the video left at 29.97 ? Other than that - or an odd non standard resolution, I have no idea. I would suggest contacting Redgiant directly - I am sure they will be able to help you out.
