You can easily guess that the US version will be 400 dollars and that’s only 50 dollars more than the XBOX 360 20 gig and its surprisingly 50 dollars less than the 360 Elite. Leaving the Wi-Fi, web browser and gaming capabilities aside, that’s a 400 dollar 1080p Blu-Ray player with HDMI 1.3.

Sony finally has an extremely competitive price point on a PS3 but they are taking a huge gamble with the system having no backwards compatibility with PS2 games at all.

Almost forgot, it’ll be £299 in the UK.

Although I'm personally not really interested in the PS3, I didn't know that, I thought it was...
