What a tremendous leap forward that would be. No more having to carry so many batteries. Wonder what charge times would be like? I hope you can put it in fasted than you an take it out.

We could actually power 150W+ lights for a worth while time off batteries maybe.

Being an environmentalist,
I think the U.S. auto companies, and specifically GM should invest in this technology for their Volt plugin electric car. This is an invention that could change everything.

They need to solve the exploding-battery syndrome, first. That's why car manufactures use nickel-based batteries, I've heard--it wouldn't do to have a battery explode while you're driving through the Arizona badlands...
