I found the Babelfish translation quite readable. Note the 21st April delivery date.

I don't get it. Is this a Japanese version of the Z1U or a totally new camera?

So how many different forums is this same post going into anyway? I see it pop up with a different name and I keep thinking its a "new" camera but it's just the Japanese version of the same camera we buy here in the states.
AND it's still HDV so it doesn't really compete with the new Panasonic which is DVCProHD (which has about 4 times more information being recorded than HDV).
For a minute I thought maybe Sony was making a Prosumer HDCam!
