Hi Steve,
We already have a thread going about this... see http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...&threadid=6223 In order to keep the discussion centralized in one location, I'm closing this thread and asking that all replies go to the link above. Thanks, |
i got it and i've been pretty happy with it. i found that i got the best results by bouncing my soundsoap settings and then passing the audio through SuperFreq.
on caveat, is that if you get too aggressive with SoundSoap, you end up with a sterile sounding track. *some* ambient noise is necessary... ;) just my own experiences. |

Hey Chris
Do you know these people?
More info about them? I've been trying to drag my partner to one of these deals for a long time........ |
Hi Dan,
Yes, I know Geoff Zimmerman personally and that's why I post these notices here for him. He has worked for Penelope Spheeris in the past (she is one of my favorite filmmakers) and he has quite a track record. His camps are a good deal, and I'm happy to help promote what he does. |
Thanks
Thanks for the info Chris........
Now the hard part.......getting my partner to go with me..... You don't know how bad I want him to go to one of these camps...heh <;~) |

List of Film Transfer Houses
The Jan/Feb 2003 issue of Res Magazine features a list of houses that specialize in transferring video to film. The compilation provides a very good summary of what each house offers, their average prices per minute for each film format and contact information.
(Note: At this writing this issue of the magazine is not yet on their Web site.) |

The TRV80 looks like it may be a nice 1 CCD cam. When it comes out, I'll have to have a good look at it. Thanks for the link.
