Big Canon Announcement? Didn't Happen.
 

I'm wondering what happened to the "industry changing" announcement Canon was going to voice yesterday? Anyone?

The only news on the web was "some kind of secure PDF thingy for copiers"

A Canon made an announcement saying that they "are getting out of the VDSLR/Hybrid business because -

One: It's too hard and Two: there is just no pleasing you people."

I think the Sept 29th thing was a case of folks adding one and one and getting three.

They got us right where they want us, salivating for each new model.

Or so it would seem if one reads camera equipment forums.

Now y'all know why we never allow links to certain "rumor" sites... they're worse than useless (useless I could actually tolerate).
