Just in case anyone is interested Oppo has now discontinued the great BDP-83...
They posted.. Due to a shortage of major components, we have ceased production of this model. OPPO BDP-83 Blu-ray Disc Player They plan on replacing it with the bdp-93 with support for 3D blu ray and I have heard Netflix....
