Saturday thru Thursday. I'll be lurking on the Sony booth shooting video blogs most of the time or you may find me on the manfrotto booth with one of my 3D rigs.

Well contrary to popular belief we learn something too at NAB. Some of us anyway, :)

BTW Dom, since you cant make it to the SuperMeet in Vegas, make it to the London SuperMeet June 16. Going to be a great show.

OK Mike, Thursday is good too. On your link it says £10.00 per person plus ticket fee for "earlybird price".

What is the tenner for if the ticket price is additional? And how much is the ticket price? All i can ascertain is that it's 20 quid on the door.

Sorry, slightly baffled. Or have i had too many 8% proof cans of cider tonight?

Planning on making NAB to cover it for my site. This'll be my first time, though -- should I get there the night of the 8th or is the 9th sufficient?

Other than the FCPUG SuperMeet, any suggestions for other events I should be on the lookout for?

Coming down from the Great White North, Mon-Fri. Gonna be doing a blog on the lighting booths at the show. Hope to post a link in Photon Mgmt. once I get the URL finalized. Any tips on evening activities would be welcomed.

Monday to Wednesday for me.

As always, I expect to be doing something to help Horton out at the SuperMeet (not that he actually NEEDS any help after running these for a full 10 YEARS now!)

I'm typically working the admissions area or schlepping prizes around while trying to keep the crowd from rushing the gigantic pile of giveaway stuff. (being a large human actually comes in handy some times!)

Looking forward to it as always, since it's the only time all year I get to catch up face to face with so many friends in one place.

I'll be there...and in the AJA booth for the most part, reveling daily in discussing things post production and geeky with all who choose to approach...

(Actually, anyone who just wants to say "hi" can approach too...I'm not completely socially dysfunctional :-) )

Arriving Saturday and out on Friday morning...not as long a haul as the AJA staff...but long enough for Las Vegas.

My new supervisor booked two shows on top of each other, so for the first time in a decade I will not be attending NAB. I would love it if someone could take a close look and report back on:

CINEDECK

SONY F3 - S-log - 4:4:4 output - primes - zoom and anything else cool that appears.
Convergent Designs
AJA Video booth
CANON (35mm Camcorder (sigh, still waiting and probably not going to appear))

I don't see the "Supermeet" on the NAB Schedule. Is it the same as the Official NAB Show Afterparty at the Lavo@Palazzo?

I'm back at the ranch here but it was great to see everyone Monday at the show and later in the evening....Chris, thanks again for making everyone feel sooo welcome in the desert. Many fellow posters are still roaming the halls at the Convention Center with, I'm sure, tired feet. When I got on the monorail to go back to the hotel, there was a collective "aaahhh" from the lucky ones who were able to sit down.....and then collective groans as we tried to stand up once we got to our stops. We did do alot of quick, 1 minute, video tweets from the various booths on new products. You can see them on filmtools.tv as well as youtube/filmtools.....yes, we had some fun with it.

The only thing better than seeing old friends at NAB is making new ones! It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and to establish new acquaintances. I had a great time, thanks a bunch to everyone for making the trip to Las Vegas -- looking forward to seeing you again next year!
