How is this for Super Slow Mo?
 
I came across this while browsing the web. I wonder what can be done with a trillion frames per second. I wonder if there is a non scientific use for this.

The frames in this are not from a single event, what you film needs to be repeated once for every frame of film with an offset in the capture equalling the interval you're shooting for. In this example, they're using pulses of laser light, so the photons they're following aren't actually the same photons from frame to frame.

They're using slit scan technology to dissect time in a very minute way (fun little pun ;) ). Neat to watch the wave forming and cresting upon the scene though :)
