Another V12.0.3 beta.

New Lightworks Version 12.0.3.d Now Available on Windows Linux and Mac OS X!

This latest build introduces Mob-IDs to AVID AAF exports (MXF only) allowing for the first time, media to automatically relink within AVID, without having to use the AVID media relinking tool. This gives us an excellent round trip tool from AVID to Lightworks and back to AVID.

The fifth Beta of version 12.0.3 is now available.

New Lightworks Version 12.0.3.e Now Available on Windows Linux and Mac OS X!

This latest build includes further improvements to Mob-Ids in AAF exports and fixes several regressions reported recently. This is hoped to be the last beta before release.

A hold on the release 12.0.3 because of some regressions introduced from previous Beta builds, which have been fixed in the sixth beta.

A hoped for last, seventh Beta of version 12.0.3 on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X is now available to download. This latest build fixes several regressions that have been introduced from previous Beta builds.

Apart from some fixes, there have been improvements to AAF export to support multichannel MXFs with Mob-Ids to AVID.

The tenth beta version 12.0.3 is available.

New Lightworks Version 12.0.3.j Now Available on Windows Linux and Mac OS X!

Apart from fixes this build introduces a new and improved config.dat file with default entries already added and new keyboard shortcut keys allowing users to swap between bins in groups.

Any chance you're working on h265 support? Just got the NX1 and have to convert footage to edit. Thanks.

I'm just a Lightworks user.

I guess once MainConcept provide support for H265, Editshare will consider supporting it, I don't think it's an option in the MainConcept SDK currently being used. There is another Lightworks build due once the current maintenance beta is released. There has been a number of announced features that are due in the version 12 builds, at present the V12.0 introduces the tri platform capability, the content manager and colour correction improvements, amongst other things.

You can put a request for H265 in the Lightworks forum.

Another 12.0.3 beta has been announced: New Lightworks Version 12.0.3.k Now Available on Windows Linux and Mac OS X!

There has been fixes and a few changes: AAF export - sub-clips are now assigned a persistent Mob ID to improve Avid linking, changes centred on bins and dded keybind "Make source into edit",

It seems that there are some new features being implemented over the next few weeks and this Beta will be renamed to 12.5 in order to reflect this, with more to come next week.

The V12.0.3 betas have now become the V12.5 betas.

New Lightworks Version 12.5.a Now Available on Windows Linux and Mac OS X!

These have a range of new features: 4k export options for Lightworks Pro users, Cinema DNG import support, 3D LUT support, Content Manager improvements, Drag and Drop improvements, support for XML export (Version 5 only), further improvements to AAF AVID Media Composer export option to allow media relinking to the original file if one exists.

The next version 12.5 beta is now available to download.

New Lightworks Version 12.5.b Now Available on Windows Linux and Mac OS X!

This has a number of fixes and adds allowing Cinema DNG files to be imported if a Free license is active plus support for import of XAVC long-GOP files.
