Mente Magica Unveils CinemantiQ

March 29, 2006: Celebrating 10 years in the CG development industry, Mente Magica announced today the availability of the first module from the awaited tungsten|SOLID series: CinemantiQ. This stand-alone application for the Windows platform, applies a film look treatment to video or still images. CinemantiQ uses a refined visual interface with real time feedback that brings users an unprecendented ease of use. CinemantiQ also provides very fast processing times, up to 30 times faster than non-accelerated plug-in solutions or custom layered compositing effects.

Some of the features in CinemantiQ include: Color correction (3-point histogram, hue, tint, saturation, RGB channels), diffusion and bloom lenses simulation, bleach bypass physical simulation, gradient lens, simple noise reduction and grain, video block segmentation, preset library (with more than 50 film looks included and more coming), smart and fast deinterlace, 180° rotation for 35mm DOF adapter users, batch processing and a pdf manual with flash tutorials.
