I don't see that happening until maybe this fall. The new Mac Pros just started shipping last fall. It's a little too early for an update. Then again, I've seen stranger things. WWDC is usually when they announce pro hardware, NAB, pro video software, etc.

I know they're going to announce something this spring to coincide with the release of the 100% 64-bit OSX Leopard.

Although it's a bit early to speculate, I'm certain some enterprising individuals will find a way to install a larger capacity drive. I mean, if it's a standard drive, why couldn't it be done. Remember the Mac Mini has no provision for end user upgrades, but that didn't stop folks for long after they figured out how to get the case popped open.

I ordered an AppleTV yesterday. I want to be able to stream HD content shot with the F350, authored in a 720P sequence and rendered to QT, out to my 65 inch RPTV in the living room. It doesn't matter that the box outputs 720P because that's the max resolution my tv allows via component input. My set is circa 2002 so it doesn't have HDMI.

so this thing is wireless? So that means you'll be able to pick up itunes through your wireless connection and do it all from your couch? If this is true i'll be first in line.

Not just MS's "media" software, but also the Xbox360. Between the HD-DVD add on, HD movies via Xbox Live, and being the "set top box" for telephone companies offering IPTV the 360 has a lot of things going for it.
