Finished my documentary

Hi. I've put together a documentary using Premiere and have it on a master tape. I want to put it on dvd to distribute but not sure what dvd burner to buy.
I'll be making about 100 and then making one every few months so need a burner that can cope with that sort of amount.
Any brands better than another or a type or function I should look out for, avoid?
Appreciate any help.

Congratualtions on finishing your Doc. I don't know too much about brands, but I'd suggest getting dual layer, multi-format burner (i.e., DVD-R,-RW,+R, +RW).

How long is the doc? If it's over 2 hours (or you want to include a lot of extras), the dual layer burner is a must.

Thanks for the reply.
Looks like dual layer - this docu' is just over two hours. The next will be about an hour and a half but hopefully with a few extras too.
I was going to then put the two together on a four hour tape and then put it on a dvd(s).

There must be plenty of you out there with a dvd burner. Are they much of a muchness and so hard to recommend or are there companies to stick to?

This looks good to me. It burns quickly, offers the dual and seems a good price.

The problem with Dual layer is the price of the media. I'm holding off buying a dual layer drive until the next speed jump, hopefully by then the media will be a lot cheaper.

Pioneer and Plextor are the rock solid manufacturers, in my experience. There have been some links on doom9.org about limited production on DL media, and that prices will stay high for the near future.

Thanks for the response. Glad I'm looking in the right area.

I'm using a Pioneer A08XL and couldn't be happier with it.
