Anybody selling skater dollies?

Anybody selling skater dollies? I'm looking to buy one. I've seen a lot of DIY skater dollies that perform amazingly and cost VERY little (around 250$). I looked around with google but all I have found was the P+S TECHNIK, which is WAY more expensive. Is there's anybody out there selling DIYs I'm in.

The P+S is the original, and a fantastic product.
But as you point out, it comes with a price.

You might consider making your own.
I built this one, and it works just fine.

Thanks, David, but unfortunately I have proven my self many times not to be the DIY type of guy. MY DIY skater would probably end up being nailing my camera to an actual skate. I saw a couple of ebay DIYs selling for like 300$ or 250$ but by that time I did not know what it was fully capable of. I've been seeing some videos and I'm really surprised at how creative you can get with it...and I'm kicking my self for not having bought it so cheap when I had the chance.

Hi David,

It looks good. You are building more for sale?

No as my time is too valuable, and I would have to charge a pretty penny for one.

Ray,

The price is $695... just curious which browser you were using when you couldn't see the price? May be some sort of compatability issue that I would definitely want to fix...

Thanks

I am on IE7. When i clicked the 'Buy it' link i saw the price in a split second. After that the 'Buy it button' did get straight on top of the price.

thanks Hubert,

I work primarily on the mac and would never have known... (IE hasn't been supported on Macs for some time.) I Use Firefox on my 1 PC in the shop and it loads the page just fine..

IE for some reason puts the paypal button exactly on top of the text $695...

thanks again for this heads up... I can go to work on remedying the problem

cheers,
Warren

I have yet to have the opportunity to sell and ship a Tracker to Europe...

I do all of my shipping thru Fedex, so let me get in touch with them and see if I can get an answer as to calculate shipping + any other import costs...

Actually, I can't pull an accurate quote without knowing exactly where the Tracker is being shipped... bad news is it will cost considerably more than the 20$ I charge to ship within the continental US... good news is that the EURO is doing quite well against the US$... :-)

Feel free to contact me directly if you would like to figure out the actual cost of shipping to your Interational location...

thanks

Got any tips

David, I'm very impressed at the one you made.

How did you get the base, is it milled material or cast from a retail die ??

Any tips you have on making one would be very helpful to say the least .

The actual lock screws and wheel hubs etc don't really seem to be a major problem , just the base .

Anyway thanks for showing a superb example of what can be achieved.

RC

I have done some more digging into shipping Internationally and it looks as if shipping thru US Postal service is the ticket. It will cost $75 US to send the tracker to Austria... Spain.... or anywhere else in Europe. And the package will arrive in 6-10 business days.

I just wanted to share my experience with my order of the Omni-Tracker.
I bought this "skater dolly" through google-checkout on Warren's homepage (www.omni-tracker.com)
I received the package 6 days after I placed my order online.
The custom duties were 101,55€. So the whole Omni-Tracker cost me over-all about 470€

I hope this information is helpful for everyone who is interessted in buying this great product.
