Red-Line camera slider
 

Hi!
I used the new camera slider from Red-Eyes, an Italian brand.
The camera slider, called Red-Line, have some nice improvement and I think is better than other sliders on the market.

Here, in Italy, is the cheapest solution you can have, I don't know if it's the same outside my country...

Nice looking footage. Very smooth. How long is it? How loud is it? Are you pushing it by hand or does it have a crank or some other method of moving the hed along the track? Last but not least how much does it sell for in Italy (in US dollars if you can)?

I purchased the 1mt model, in the Red-Eyes' website they say it's the right compromise for portability and movement possibility and I think it's true.
You have a lightweight camera slider very smooth and quiet, easy to transport.
You can hear a very little sound using it, but it's hardly to hear!
I pushed it with my hands, but when I bought it they tell me they are making a new model with an handle so you can be more consistent.
I found very useful the marking strip on the slider base, because you can make the exact movement every time.
Here, in Italy, it's the cheapest slider you can have, it costs 320 euros, shipping included.

Just found that they have translated they pages.
International cost is 465 dollars for the 1m version...

where did you purchase this? ... i did a quick search and couldn't find their website or any other carries online... do they have a website, if so could you please post it... thanks!

This is an Igus built slider just like the zaza slider, except it uses the wider rail/carriage (they put a black cover over the carriage). Same ol' Igus problems will still exist unfortunately...

When the absolute best slider becomes available to the market, please let me know. So far, cinevate is making one of the better sliders on the market.

Cody, keep an eye out for the Atlas 10 ;). I did a review on it and am really impressed by it.

Randy, I saw the Atlas 10 and it looks like one of the better sliders on the market. What exactly is the rope used for?

It'll be shown in a future video but imagine : pulley system + rope + vertical slide ability = :). I'm putting together a video that should explain it all.

it is in my opinion the best slider , the only thing is that you need two tripods to set it up, and most of the time i don't have time and space for that , so in tight spaces I'm using indislider - of course not as good as cinevate, but it is much better than igus parts based sliders, and it takes just one tripod to set up .

Buba, you're talking about the Atlas 30, I'm talking about new UNRELEASED Atlas 10 :). The atlas 10 can be mounted via 1 tripod.

My blog has some info. I did an unpacking and a review. The size will be either 36" or 28" I believe, not 100% sure as it's about a month away from release.

if that's the unreleased Atlas 10, no thanks, I've tried this railing about a year ago, too heavy and too noisy, mine don't have fancy legs though :)
so probably Atlas 30 is the best slider, at least from what I've tried
