True

TRUE

TRUE!!!

We can tell you have production value even in a over compressed video.

You want to know what hurts your entries? Us having to install new codecs, super slow 80mb downloads, having to find your entry in multiple sub pages, having your page crash our browsers, having your video play 1 out of every 3 attemtps, and not being able to see your film at all.

Want to know a secret I didn't expose in DVC2?
I WATCH ALL YOUR MOVIES IN THE SMALLEST RESOLUTION YOU OFFER!!!!
Why? 27 movies x (4 minutes run time + 1>5 minute downloading)) = me love you long time. If I can shave off two minutes of download time per video, that saves me an hour of eyestrain in front of my computer.

Honestly, we don't care what it looks like.

Ahhh....now that's a real shame...because I kinda thought the crappy compression in my lowest resolution made my short look like circus cats performing ballet behind a thin sheet of used hospital gauze.

There is a point where they become not fun to watch of course, but there were only 2 or 3 like that where I went back and watched in a larger res because the low version was really really bad.

The funny thing is, I've said it for every DVC so far, but no one believes me or the rest of the judges. :)

Wait, the one with circus cats dancing ballet was my favorite one.
