Error message when Marking As Read
Hi guys,
I was trying to use the Mark Forums Read option just now (approx 21:10GMT) and get the following: Quote:
It's not the end of the world, but I figured it better to let you know rather than keep it secret. |
Mike, thanks for reporting this. There was apparently a bug in the new point release of vBulletin we just upgraded to. Should be fixed now!
|
Hi Jenn,
almost fixed. I just did the same thing and got the same error message. But I hit "Back" on my browser, re-pressed te "Mark All Forums Read" link and it did it successfully. So I then looked at the screen it gave me back and this was the 1st message in view! So your fix is a two stage one, but does at least then point the reader to the answer to what is happening! Congrats. Cheers, Ian |
Ah, I missed a spot, should have all three links fixed now.
|
All working now - thanks Jenn, good job.

Jenn, Chris,
This error seems to have returned this morning (from at least 7am UK time today). Just letting you know! |
I get this error as well and have seen it for a couple of days now.
I saw this thread one minute after i posted a mail about it to Chris. |
Thanks for the heads-up. We'll check it out.

Update:
It seems to be just the link at the bottom of the forum pages. The one under "Quick Links" works fine for me. |

I did notice that the link at the bottom of the page and the Quick Link to mark everything as read leads to two different places. Dont know if thats the issue, but in other forums they link to the same adress and not two different adresses. :) |
