bad quality at ntsc dvd
 

Hi all.
I'm getting poor quality when playing my dvds in my 37 lcd screen... the small details are pixelated, like small faces or small objects...
My workflow is:

Capturing and editing my sd with uncompressed avi and then I encode to mpeg2 using tmpgenc 4.0 xpress with vbr 8000 bitrate.

Don't know if it's because I'm playing standard definition on a high definition screen (big lcd) or I'm making some mistakes...
