DVD SP 2 Burn Question
 

Faithfully following a tutorial from Ken Stone's web site to make a basic DVD, I hit burn and now for the last half hour it has been stuck at 'Encoding Assets' indicating '14% complete'.

The DVD is using a 66-minute QT file.

Is this typical that it seems to stick at '14% complete' while 'Encoding Assets'?

Any ideas?

Elmer, check the log that DVDSP writes for you - that could give you a hint as to what's causing the error. If you've never noticed the log, it's in the lower-left corner in the default window arrangement as a tab behind "Assets." If you're getting the infamous "video bitrate too high" then you might have to re-encode or process your audio with A.Pack. In any case the log should help you see what's going on.
