Problem...Burning Dual Dayer DVD with DVD Workshop2
 

I’m trying to burn a dual layer disk: (Memorex DVD+R DL)

But, DVD workshop seems not able to read my DL disk correctly -- because…

Under the ‘burn project to disk settings’ I get this:

Required/available space: 6.5 GB 579MB

So, my project is 6.5 GB – which should fit on a DL disk, but DVD Worlshop2 is telling me that my DL disk is only 579MB! It should read over 8GB!

I’m using the Sony DRX-710UL to burn with (which supports DL burning).

I should mention that it reads standard + and - DVD’s just fine – that is, it is able to correctly read how much storage capacity they have (i.e., 4.7GB).

Anyone know what’s going on here?

...just needed to upgrade to the latest version/fix of the software if anyone runs into the same problem!
