DVD Architect doesnt support 24p without recompress? (7D workflow)

My workflow
1.7d shot in 24p 1920x1080 setting
2.Convert using Cineform.
3. Edit in Vegas, then render DVDA template 24p widescreen, (FOR HDTV display)
4. **DVDA ! (problem is it wants to re compress because
"24p encoding is not supported in this product."

Is there a way around this?
PLease help
I just want to get the best quality out to make SD DVD for HDTV

thanks,

I have had nothing but trouble going from Vegas to DVDA with HD material. So now, I just export from Vegas as lossless AVI, and let DVDA encode it. I ran out of time and patience with Vegas.

Which version of Vegas and DVD Architect are you using?

If it's one of the consumer versions (Vegas Movie Studio series, which comes with DVD Architect Studio 4.5), then you cannot produce 24p DVDs at all (or put it this way, the main Vegas Movie Studio program can do 24p, but DVD Architect Studio cannot do anything at all with that video except recompress it using a different frame rate). Only 60i and 30p for NTSC (or 50i and 25p for PAL) are supported in DVD Architect Studio 4.5. Any 24p video will get converted to a 30p stream in a 60i wrapper by that program.
