How to create DVD with anamorphic flag?
 

Hi,
I have some 640x480 anamorphic video in .avi format that I need to convert to DVD video. I tried the nero 7 demo software on their site. It has a 16:9 option when going thru the dvd wizard. I selected it, but all it does is put black bars on the sides! I played it back on a 4:3 TV and it had black bars on the sides, not the top and bottom! On a widescreen setup the playback wasn't any better. It still had black bars on the sides... even when I set the dvd to playback 4:3 material in 'full'.

Anyways, I need to find a program like nero that will convert the .avi to dvd format (mpeg2) and burn the dvd... but with the anamorphic flag.

Any suggestions?
