Woa! Now this is showing the true power of this camera.

Thanks Dan, very powerful film making. My nephew is over there right now, he is like one of the guys pictured in this clip. Talk about a difficult situation, between the Taliban, our policies and all of the tribal and local interests.

The 5D MKII is perfect for this sort of use, the images look great, even the grainy night stuff.

For me, very impressive. Story first, tools of trade second and no pretences.

If Neil Davis was still around, this would have been his camera for these times.

Very intense.
The camera performed fantastically, of course, but what I'm more impressed by is the story-telling and reporting of the piece. Wow! Scary world.

This is what I thought of when I first saw 5D MkII video. Run and gun, plus documentary and telling the story. Truly great stuff, a breakthrough tool for a new generation of journalists.
