A UK retailer says "yes - it will slide onto the LCD screen" - but I'm not so sure about fixing it securely in place and a fair bit of dosh to get wrong.

Any views on this or indeed any experience of using the finder? I really need a loupe/finder for my target of insects up close in bright sunshine.

Main use is/was to be filming insects, butterflies and dragonflies. Need time to get used to it after years on MFT cameras.

Anyway just now it's packed up on me. Switch it on, but after the briefest of images the image goes. Not a sudden switch off but like a curtain quickly dropping. The viewfinder/screen info still there and the cam responds when e.g. the Menu Button pushed.

Will record audio but not video.

Tried different CF cards but still the same.

Help!
