Premier Pro CS5.5 to FCPX?

I have been using Premier Pro CS3, CS4 and now CS5.5 on my mac and like it ok but still pretty new to the video world. (I am a full time photographer) I have always wished FCP had a trial as I felt it might be the better choice, especially when using multiple cams and syncing audio but never bit the bullet to buy it.

Now from what I understand there is a Trial for FCPX, but before I even download it, want to see if there are any opinions on people making the switch.

From what I have heard, its not been real popular for those who have used FCP for years, as many things changed but might be the perfect time for Adobe users to make the change.

I did a search and did not really find any info on this questions, sorry if its been posted before but I was unable to find any thread in the search.

Thanks

Download the demo and be sure to use the help menu to understand some of the unusual methods employed by FCPX. You may find it very useful for your work or an exercise in frustration if there are functions in CS5 that are not duplicated. The program has some very good features but it is essentially version 1 of a new editing program while CS5 and FCP 7 are very mature software.
