font sequences missing
 

HI

I'm all up to date on versions (10.1.2) but I noticed in a friends version that FCP has new font sequences in the Title generator section. Engraver Gothic is a great one for example, does anyone know why I haven't got these sequences?

Dave,

Perhaps your friend has installed fonts you don't have on your machine. FCP shows the fonts installed in the Font Book, although some are not recommended for video use. You can download and install fonts yourself.

Some fonts come with installed programs. Sometimes fonts disappear with upgrades as the license has expired with the company that included it with their program. This includes the Mac OS. Generally you can find the font online and download it, sometimes for free.

i've got the fonts, just not the extra new sequences in the text generator :)
