Problems in final cut pro?
 
The minute I open up final cut pro the window gose completly black when I clikck on anything can someone help?

Let me just get this straight:
You launch FCP, then you see all the normal windows, and when you click, it all goes black?

As far as I know the only function in FCP that causes the whole screen to go black is that you have selected the main screen for preview and there's black on that portion of the timeline. Apple(cmd) F12 is the toggle.

I'm not sure what the problem is but we can try to isolate. When you double click the FCP icon, it'll open the last project. Can you try opening a another project's icon and see? Also which version? I'm sure some here can help.
