How to bleep out profanity?

Anyone know how to make the beep sound when editing out swear words?

garageband has some cinema sound effects that you can export as aiff and drag into your fcp project....

I use Final Cut's built-in Bars & Tone, just cutting in the audio (ie.Tone). Couldn't be easier...

Or you can isolate the word and reverse it.
