Mixing footage captured in Final Cut with Premiere

Hello,

I have a Mac with final cut 6 at school and a PC with Premiere CS3 (updated so it can edit DVCprohd footage natively) at home. I have captured a bunch of HDV 720/24p in final cut and will batch export the footage to DVCproHD. My question is what file format should I export it in with Final Cut, so it will work in Premiere? avi? quicktime? other? Any other recommended settings or a step by step guide would be greatly appreciated.

Generally when editing in Premiere on PC, I have found that PPro works best with avi files. I have had issues once or twice with Final Cut captured footage in Quicktime DV that can't be recognized in PPro.

If I could I would like to recommmend you the Cineform codec.
My partner in the USA and I here in Norway work on both systems.
We now just work with the Cineform knowing that we have no quality loss accross both platforms.

I do not have access to cineform so avi it is.

Gary, can you please elaborate a bit on your workflow with Cineform?
Me and my partner works on Mac and PC and have been thinking of getting Cineform
