Subtitle Font

I'm subtitling a SD DVD and am looking for a good font for this, that doesn't alias too much. Any suggestions that anyone has found works well?

Many thanks, Nick

I normally work around Skia, Century Gothic, Bank Gothic, or Handwriting....I use a Mac OSx so I am basing my suggesting on that..

Helvetica is always a good standard font that's easy to read. You want to use a non-serif font for clarity. And an italic option for certain situations is helpful, too.

This would be nice thread. I think it is really important to get the font so that fits the context of the product. I would love to hear people what you use for particular situations. For example font for documentary, or for film - fiction, and what film, crime or feel good one. There must be a lot of knowledge on this subject out there.

Thanks
