$86-19" samsung lcd as 2nd monitor w/macbook pro + final cut?
 

i'm looking at the samsung 933bw as a 19" lcd 2nd monitor to use with final cut pro and my macbook pro 2.4.

the price of $86 after rebate is the reason i'm interested.

i'm not looking to color grade using this monitor. i'm simply looking to use the 2nd monitor as the canvas screen in final cut instead of relying on the macbook pro 15".

anyone with any thoughts on the quality of this samsung?

I use a similar samsung as a pallette monitor next to my 23" cinemas display. Works great, I use a intensity pro output to an hd monitor for color. I kind of like being able to go full screen on the samsung to see what the picture looks like on a bad screen...especially when I work on video for web.

i am thinking of the samsung as simply a way to expand my viewable screen real estate from the 15" macbook pro.

i am really a writer/producer who does his own ruff cut before bringing in the "real" edit team.

looking over the specs of the samsung 933bw, i wonder if u or anyone else can foresee any issues that i'm not noticing?
