Help with FCS2, Leopard & Compressor
 
I got a roll-down Mac in my department, a G5 with the last of the Power PC chips, and I put a FCS2 on it. It's running Leopard. Everything seems to be working but I can't get Compressor to work. I get a "can't connect to background process" or something like that message. I'm sorry for the confusion but I'm a PC person with Premiere experience. Anyway, I tried many things, Compressor & QMaster uninstall-reinstall, updates, I even tried that Compressor Repair program, but nothing seems to be working. Any ideas?

There can be several reasons why this happens. Try this list of "known" remedies.
