FCP Text Tool - Accents
Is there a way to get accents for, say, Spanish words. Like that slash over the 'e's as in
Jose. |

Both FCP built-in title tool and Boris Title 3D allow you access to the built-in Special Characters in the OSX font book. There you'll find "Accented Latin" characters.

There are also keyboard shortcuts.
For example, type option-e then the letter e and you'll get an accented e. I *think* it's option-n and then e for the ˜symbol over the e. |
