Close captioning
I just complete a spot for a government agency, and it looks like they want to have it "captioned" for the hearing impaired. I know there are companies that do this, but can it be done in FCP 5? (plug in, etc?) It seems like it should be stupidly simple, but I can't find any info. Anybody have a thought?
Maybe its more of a beast than it looks. Thanks. |
Further research by me makes it look kinda expensive and beastly for the do it yerselfer, and perhaps best outsourced. Any other info or comments welcome.

I don't know if this would work for what you need, but you can do a subtitle track in DVDSP that can be turned on and off.
I do that for most of my trade show videos so the words can be seen if it gets too loud at the event. |
