Twixtor and FCP Crossfade Question

I've slowed some footage down using Time Remap in Twixtor (speed is now 80% of original). I added the Twixtor filter, but only changed the speed - I didn't touch anything else.

However, when I apply a crossfade I get jerky footage in the first few frames of the re-timed clip. It looks as though I've lost a frame or two, just enough that the motion looks unnatural. If I don't add a crossfade the clip looks fine.

Any ideas on a workaround?

Cheers

Dave I would render out (export) the remapped clip as a ProRes HQ clip with your sequence set to the higher precision rendering and then import the rendered clip to replace the one you have the Twixtor filter on, then apply your transition.

Did you render the cross fade?
