Interlace Issue

Ok, Here is my dilemma. I am editing for a national satellite tv show. I am having trouble with interlace issues. I am going to attach a link of the video.

OS 2011 Chuck Ashley IN WT Seg4Interlace - YouTube

The footage was shot with a canon xh-a1 in 60i. I captured the footage in FCS3 with the capture setting HDV and the sequence preset to HDV 1080(60i). I have exported it in everything from 10-bit uncompressed to ProRes, to AJA 10-bit uncompressed. I was at the network today and we worked on it for hours... we figured it was a field dominance issue, but from what we could tell that was correct (Upper). We figure it may be my video card (NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT) and still haven't ruled this out, but I would like some advice before buying a new video card. My computer has been running a little slower lately(render) but don't know if this is the reason. I don't notice anything on my screen. Only when it is exported. Thanks for any help.

Re: Interlace Issue

I don't see an interlace issue. I see an aspect ratio issue. Did YouTube clean it up?
Can you describe what you're seeing?

Re: Interlace Issue

What makes you think that there's an interlacing issue? How are you monitoring your video? the vast majority of these problems are from improper monitoring, not from any real interlacing problem.

Improper monitoring, ahhhh!
I've been scratching my head for the past couple of years . . . i'm constantly seeing reversed interlacing on news broadcasts and local sports news features and wondering how in the world that gets by the production staff in a professional environment. Maybe they're not using proper iMonitors and using computer monitors in their work flow, huh?

Re: Interlace Issue

I see TONS of interlacing artifacts on the high contrast edge where the orange touque meets the background.

EDIT: ONLY when watching at 480... the default of 360 seems to cover it up

What's your final delivery?
If you are exporting your final project to interlaced dvd it shouldn't be a problem.
If your final product is for web or computer, why not de-interlace it using an FCP filter or simply let compressor do it?
I shoot 30p almost exclusively.
