90's music video effect in fcp 7
 
Hey guys, I'm trying to duplicate the effect that was popular in music videos a while back. It's a fade in from white combined with a speed change from fast to normal speed that matches the fade in. The effect resembles a camera flash and a speed change at the same time. Any tips?
