Map
Hello!
I am going to be editing a large project for the Ontario Northland train station. During the video the client really wants an animated map to show the path of a train. (It is hard to explain. I invision a map of Ontario zoomed in with a red line drawing out a path where the train runs.) At each point along the path we will stop and throw to the host who will talk about each station. What is the best way to achieve this effect? Any suggestions would be great, thanks! ...Andy |
I haven't done that sort of thing before, but it sounds like a good project for Motion.
BTW, if you don't have Motion, you might want to take advantage of Apple's FC Studio upgrade discussed here: http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=58196 |
Watch the podcast on gradient wipes form total traing http://www.totaltraining.net/gurulou....asp?c=gl&n=e1 it can explain it a lot better that I can ;-)

There is a good tutorial in this months DV magazine. They used AE or FC for it.
